Find Support Across the UK
A directory of mental health services, specialist providers, and charities across the UK, shared by our members and searchable by distance from your postcode.
We are aware of the most common challenges that families encounter on their journey, such as the typical length of interventions not matching the needs of their child; the need for the child to engage with the process in the first place, with the first step often being a physical face-to-face meeting between the child and a professional; and the times of day when interventions are available (daytime office hours).
To respond to these challenges, we are aiming to raise awareness amongst the health professionals, services, and charities listed here of the unmet needs of our community, with the hope that this will lead to more tailored approaches and support. In the meantime, we hope you find some of the support you are looking for.
Please be aware that the services listed here are not tailored to hikikomori. They are support networks in your area, including mental health services, specialist providers, and relevant charities across the UK. Listings are provided by members and signposted for information only. They are not endorsed by the network unless explicitly stated.
